Up your Knot Game!

Despite many men – these days – having impeccable fashion sense and an exquisite taste in their tie selection, it still surprises me to this day how little – many (not all) – know about tie knots; even the ones they use on a near daily basis!

Believe it or not, your ability to masterfully tie your knot can carry the same “wow factor” as that beautiful silk piece you select every morning.

Let’s keep it simple, with three basic tie knots:

The Four In Hand

four-in-hand-knot

Makes a small knot and looks best with a narrow spread collar such as a traditional point collar and a button-down collar.

The Half Windsor

Makes a medium knot and is best suited for a medium spread collar.

The Full Windsor

full-windsor-knot

The fullest knot and looks best with a widespread collar.
