5 Ways to Dress at your Next Holiday Party

Tis’ the season, to impress.

By Janine Giorgenti

As the calendar turns to December, we all look forward to attending office, business, networking and family holiday parties.

What do you wear?

This is a time of high spirits, celebrations, and good cheers. This means you need to step up your game and add a bit of pizzazz to your wardrobe ensemble!

Think of the all the holiday colors; red, silver and gold. Now think contrasting colors; like white snow against a dark moonlit night. Put this in the mood of festivity and reflect that spirit in your wardrobe.

Here are 5 holidays dressing tips:

1-Wear a formal white dress shirt with a dark suit or sports-coat combined with a tie which has with red, silver or gold in it.
2-Wear a patterned sock that has touches of red or silver in it.
3-Sport a red, silver, white or gold pocket square to add that touch of formality and class
4-Polish your shoes to a shine that says, “look at me”.
5- Try a red knit V-neck sweater vest over your white dress shirt with a charcoal, navy or black suit and add a tie with a touch of the holiday colors.

Now put this all together and you will be remembered as the well-dressed guy with the holiday spirit, good will, and good cheer.

Christmas and New Years are rapidly approaching. Don’t risk looking anything but your very best for that private black-tie affair.
