0Does a Stitch in Time Save Nine?
A Small Fix Goes a Long Way.
By Janine Giorgenti Just like routine maintenance on a car and we’ll visit doctor check ups, when you catch problems early the’re an easy fix. The same goes with your clothing. Give your wardrobe a clothing check up. Are the buttons secure on your dress shirts, or hanging by the last thread? Are there threads that need to be clipped before they start to unravel? Have you ignored that small open seam that could completely come apart? Remember, whenever you set foot outside your home, there is always the chance of someone seeing you. That slight imperfection in your clothing could send off the wrong message. Stay prepared. Here are items you should always keep on hand: 1- Small cuticle scissors (to cut loose threads). 2- Keep extra buttons in case you loose one off your dress shirts. 3- A small sewing kit for emergencies. These are available at your local drug store. 4- Purchase a lint brush.
