The Oscar for Hottest Suit Color Goes to…
By Janine Giorgenti
The Oscars have come and gone, and, despite the controversial nature of the show – it was a wildly entertaining display with some knockout performances (is Lady Gaga not a one-in-a-generation vocal talent?) and moments like Leonardo DiCaprio finally winning an Oscar.
The – fashion – star of the night was, undoubtedly, the indigo blue suit. This red hot color, which has been a favorite of the Hollywood elite (as well as New York boardroom mavens), was spotted heavily on the fashion ensembles of the stars gracing the red carpet on Sunday night.
(Michael Strahan, former New York Giants player and current GMA anchor)
As discussed previously, the navy blue color signifies credibility and allows for versatility across a broad range of age groups.
(Actor Sylvester Stallone, who was nominated for his role in Creed)
The indigo blue ensemble (featured heavily lately with a black lapel) is a modern (and downright bold) twist to the navy suit, and oozes with confidence, fashion, sex appeal, and is well received in a wide variety of settings and venues.
(Robert Pattinson, star of the Twilight movie series)
Here’s the good news, you can own this exact look!
From the sharp indigo blue color, right down to the black lapel and custom inner linings, you are one phone call away from making a splash at your next networking dinner, client interaction, boardroom meeting, or hot date – with a custom fitted indigo tuxedo (or suit).
